About us

Welcome to our guest house at Nodeland! Your hosts are Unni and Tord Samdal, and we are very much looking forward to seeing you!

Unni (right) is a retired engineer, having worked a long career with Equinor, the Norwegian oil and gas company. Tord (left) is a a retired teacher, having tried to teach what in England would be called Sixth formers such diverse subjects as English, Computer Programming and Music History.
We will normally be present when you arrive, if not we will arrange it so that you will have access to the house by using a code to open the front door. Instructions will be sent you before you arrive.

The house is not difficult to find, but you can download driving instructions by clicking the button below.

And by the way: The name «Graceland Hall» is a joke. The Norwegian name of the area is «Nodeland», and the first half of the name can mean «Grace» (if you pronounce it the way the locals do!) and the second of course is «land». But as you might know, there is another place in Memphis, Tennessee called Graceland, so we thought why not add «Hall» to have a little fun with it. And that’s what we did. With a smile on our face.
